Job Description:

The Chief Operating Officer is a member of our senior leadership team and is responsible for managing all administrative and operational decisions made in the Firm. The COO oversees the effective coordination of the Firm’s physical, human, intangible and financial assets to ensure the highest level of success for the Firm and its team. This position works closely with the Managing partner, executive team and partners for oversight and integration of the operational functions, strategic plan execution, system/ procedural enhancements, and budgeting for the Firm. The COO ensures strategic alignment within all functions and decisions of the Firm and champions the overall organizational health and culture of the firm. This position requires in the office.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to drive efficiency and profitability.
  • Oversee financial operations, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with partners to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
  • Evaluate and implement technology solutions to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and firm policies.
  • Solid understanding of financial reports and key performance indicators (KPI’s).
  • Requires strong presence in each office location to effectively lead and support our team.
  • Requires regular travel between offices (Syracuse, Rochester & Watertown) to ensure seamless coordination, communication, and collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA is a plus.
  • 7-10+ years as a COO or relevant role preferred.
  • Finance, accounting and experience in a professional service firm is preferred.
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions is a plus.
  • Expertise with business functions relating to Finance, IT, Marketing, Human Resources and Contract negotiations.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills along with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficient with Microsoft office suite
  • Team builder, motivator, and possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards

Salary Range: $125,000-$175,000 with performance incentives.
